The Revolution - 8.31.11

Tonight we welcomed our 6th graders to the student ministry.  We had 5 newbies (which is great considering there's only like 12 in our church)!  It was a good night: worship was great, the hubs spoke on Mark 6:7-13 and challenged the kids to share the gospel with others & to be there for each other, and we had ice cream afterwards.  

It was interesting because there was a different kind of energy there tonight.  I don't know if it was the excitement of the new kids or what, but the energy was different.  It was definitely good though.

I am super blessed to be a part of this ministry!

here we go again

One of my goals for this year is to keep a blog of daily life with the hubs.  I want to write about what life is like for me as a wife of a youth/associate pastor (who is called to pastor a church one day), as a woman who wants kids but has none, and most importantly as a follower of Christ.

I've tried to write blogs in the past and I never follow through.  And I think part of my problem has been that my blogs have been "themed" and narrowly at that.  And thus I have lost interest.  So not this time.  

I hope that if you do find this little blog that it will inspire you, bless you, and ultimately bring glory to my Savior.
